The government has planned to cease analogue television signals with a target date from 2006 to 2012. After this time, television will only be available through a digital system such as Digital Terrestrial (What we know as Freeview), Satellite, Cable or Broadband TV.
Existing communal systems will need to be replaced with IRS (Integrated Reception Systems) which will enable residents to access Digital Satellite, Digital Tv, FM and Dab.
Freeview channels are all free without a subscription. Freeview is received via your terrestrial aerial together with a Freeview box or integrated Freeview digital TV.
In order to ascertain as to whether your aerial is compatible for Freeview we offer a free survey. If you do need to upgrade the aerial system, we advise as to what is required and how much it will cost.
We cannot guarantee that you will receive the full service until we have fitted the digital compatible aerial for you (if required). If you do not receive all the service, you will receive the majority of it, subject to the area in which you live. Our engineer can advise.
